Hello friends. How has your week been? I’ve spent much of it curled up keeping warm and nursing a bad back, but have been pleasantly surprised this weekend by the nice weather and rise in temperature.

I went out and purchased a vintage Art Deco desk from a charity shop near where I live yesterday (pictures to follow when I’ve picked it up and brought it home!) There seems to be an increase in charity shops specialising in vintage clothing and homewares recently – something I’m more than happy about!

Wintry

I took a walk in the wintry snow around North Oxford and so instead of a Sunday Brunch post this week I thought I’d share a few of my photographic finds ….

Apart from this brief outing I’ve spent most of the weekend tucked up inside with a hot chocolate; I love looking at the snow but I’m not really one for playing in it!

I’ve been using these cold snow days to catch up reading a few of my favourite blogs and think about how I want to get back into sharing photographs with you and searching out more vintage finds and unusual objects. I’ll line up a few posts for later this week.

Etsy Shop Announcement

I’m happy to say I’ve finally started to stock some items in my little Etsy shop. I hope to get creating more and have a fully stocked store soon, but for now I listed a few pretty collage packs.

I found an old copy of ‘The Country Flowers of a Victorian Lady’ by Fanny Robinson and have handmade little envelopes out of them. Each envelope is then filled with a variety of ephemera and paper items. I hope they’ll be well received. I think they’d make original gifts for friends who like to make collages and craft projects.
