Today I want to introduce to you a styled bridal shoot. As an engaged girlie, I’m often searching wedding and photography blogs for inspiration, both for my future wedding, but also for general styling and design trends.

This shoot by Claire Penn Photography features some wonderful vintage-style items, set up to promote the new collection by Victoria Mary Vintage.
I’ve always loved the idea of taking furniture outside into the wilderness and this idea seems to have formed a trend for wedding and engagement shoots over the last few years.

I love the way the stylist has mixed natural materials such as wood, alongside the pale lace and ceramics and the vibrant colours of the berries and moss.

The glass jars and serving dishes look fabulous filled with moss and flowers.

The birdcages featured in the shoot, make great settings for more florals and also to display the jewellery and other accessories.

If you’d like to see more of this shoot, and in particular more of what the bride is wearing, please head over to Claire Penn Photography – I’m sure Claire would love you to see the full set.
